Membership Requirements

We must verify the eligibility of every member who signs up for the VFW to comply with our National Bylaws and maintain the organization's integrity.

Veterans whose DD-214 or other military documentation confirms they have been awarded a campaign medal, served in Korea, received hostile fire pay, and have served honorably are eligible for Veterans of Foreign Wars membership.
